This Privacy Policy describes how Unicorner Inc. (“Unicorner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://unicorner.club, subscribe to our newsletters, register for events, or participate in the Unicorner Syndicate (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: your email address when you subscribe, and any optional information you give us (e.g., name, role, or institution) when you register for events or apply to the Syndicate. Syndicate applicants additionally provide accreditation information and identity verification documents to our third-party verification provider.

Information collected automatically: IP address, user-agent, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. This is captured through standard server logs maintained by our hosting and email providers.

Cookies and similar technologies: we set a small number of first-party cookies, including a ucref cookie (30 days) used to attribute referral signups. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser; the Services will still function but referral attribution will not.

To operate the referral program and credit your shares.

Service providers acting on our behalf, including: Resend (email sending and audience management), Supabase (database hosting), and Vercel (web hosting and request logs). Each provider is contractually bound to process data only as we direct.
Syndicate-specific providers, including an accreditation verification vendor and an SPV administrator, when you apply to or participate in a deal.
Authorities or third parties when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality safeguards.

4. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time using the link in the email footer or at https://unicorner.club/unsubscribe. Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA, UK, California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information. Our service providers process data in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed there. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to protect international transfers.
